As I already mentioned somewhere, I really like to play guitar. I found some quite good sites where you can find a lot of song with tabs and chords included:
Since version 1.3 I use a special format called XGSL (eXtended Guitar Song Language) to save and manage the different songs.
This implies not only that I have to review every single song, but also to copy / paste them manually into a new application
I wrote especially for this purpose. As you can surely imagine, this is a stupid and long work to do, so please be patient
with the final release of version 1.3.
As described above I use a new concept for creating the songbook. Recently I added some more changes. As a matter of fact, I was tiered of reprinting over and over again the whole book add every new release. That's the major reason why I decided to no longer make the songs appear in any order inside the book and to add the sorted index at the end. Why this change? Now, I think this is quite obvious: Every new release will probably contain new songs (I do not want to delete other ones!). So songs will be added to the end of the book.
This makes it easy to update a printed version: Just print all pages, beginning at the page the first new songs has been added i.e.: Your actual version contains 242 pages and 204 songs. A new version may contain 258 pages with 211 songs. Let's suppose the first new song (n° 205) starts on page 234. In this case just go on and print pages 234 to 258.
A last notice: Having the index at the end does not necessarily mean that you have to also place it at the end of your printout :-)
A very last notice: For each update I will try to provide a complete list of changes that have been done...
